Tamara is an illustrator who was raised in Greenwood, Indiana. During her childhood, she went on numerous family camping trips which encouraged her love for nature and sparked an interest in art. She practiced by drawing various animals, both real and imaged, using any materials available. Currently, her focus is on compiling a bestiary that draws from these early expressions, however; she also works with portraiture, landscapes, and more. Tamara has experimented with various different mediums, from graphite, to charcoal, to paint, as well as digital software and ink to render her images.
